EXTREME ARCTIC AIR TO MOVE THROUGH TONIGHT AND LAST INTO THURSDAY MORNING
Strong arctic air will move through the body of the state tonight and will be accompanied with strong north winds, which will produce winds chills in the single digits tonight and may get as low as 0 degrees by 6AM. Be very cautious tonight. If have to get out tonight take a blanket just in case you get stranded. Any long stay out in this weather tonight may lead to hypothermia and frostbite which are serious conditions. With arctic air in place we will not get above freezing tomorrow with a high of 30 degrees and wind chills in the upper teens. Tomorrow night we will get down to 13 degrees. Winter Weather Advisory in affect for the panhandle and far northwestern Oklahoma counties. We will be chilly through Saturday. Updates later tonight.
