THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORMAN HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING.

* TIMING: PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ARE EXPECTED LATE THIS
MORNING AND THIS AFTERNOON.

* MAIN IMPACT: SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED.
HIGHER SNOW TOTALS ARE POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY ACROSS WESTERN AND
NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE OKLAHOMA CITY METRO UP THROUGH
STILLWATER.

* OTHER IMPACTS: NORTHERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON AND
MAY CAUSE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE
EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS.
