Heavy Rain to move in.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for most of the state. The metro could see another 2-3 inches of rain. These afternoon storms are barely moving, and the slow movement is producing a deluge of rain. Stay cautious and weather aware. If you are driving, please do not drive through!!!! As I type this, storms are trying to go up. My forecast from my previous post has not changed, so I am not updating. If anything dramatic changes, I will update often. Stay safe!

More heavy rain to come, some flooding possible

We will likely see some extremely heavy rain Thursday into Friday. Not much has changed in my thinking over the last few days. Flooding is possible Thursday night, as a cold front stalls out southeast of the metro.

The metro area has seen between 4-7 inches of rain over the last 7 days, and any additional heavy rain will complicate rivers and streams. Stay cautious through the next few days.

We will continue to see disturbances come into Oklahoma through the next 7 days. Rain chances will start high and start to slacken off for the weekend; however, it is not a completely dry forecast for the weekend.

You may have to dodge some showers; however, the rain will be hit or miss. Temperatures will start mild and end up hot and humid this weekend. Temperatures in the mid 80's are on tap for Wednesday through Friday. We will warm up to around 90 for the weekend into next week.
