Little relief ahead. The triple digits will return this weekend, and the heat will last into next week

I just finished my forecast, and we will see a little relief from the massive heat by a few degrees, but with the humidity high, we will still feel like 100 degrees on the heat index. I have a 20% chance of rain for Thursday and Friday, but the showers will be few and far between. Overnight lows will remain consistant around 75, and Saturday will be the hottest day of the next seven days. It will be 101 on Saturday, and 100 Sunday through Tuesday. We should fall below the century mark on Wednesday, but as previously mentioned, it will still feel unbearable outside.

Heat Safety: Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water before you leave the house, and do not wait until you are thirsty. Wear plenty of sunscreen, take plenty of breaks and try to stay inside. It is advised to check up on the elderly, for their bodies cannot take the heat, so they need to stay inside as much as possible. Take precautions before heat exhaustion and heat strokes occur. Stay safe.
