The heat wave will continue for 3 more days. We will have cold fronts start moving through. I have a feeling we have seen the hottest weather, but the high pressure will likely return. As far as the cool down, we will have a cold front move through the state Saturday into Sunday. Temperatures will become closer to what is normal. Low temperatures will also become cooler. Rain chances will slowly climb, and we will likely see rain by Monday. Rain chances will exist Sunday through Wednesday. Moderate chances will be Sunday into the day Monday.

My forecast is HOT through Saturday with highs around 102. I have 96 on Sunday, 91 on monday, and 93 Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds will shift Saturday night into Sunday, and these winds will be from the northeast at around 10 miles per hour.

You need to be safe through Saturday. There has already been at least 1 death, as a result of the heat. Stay hydrated, cool down inside, and apply sunscreen. It is also recommended to check on family and friends.
