Storms on-going across northern Oklahoma
Storms are firing along a weak cold front. The front extends along a line from south of Ponca City to south of Enid to north of Weatherford and out into the Texas panhandle. Frequent cloud to ground lightning, torrential rainfall, and possible small hail are the primary hazards. Severe weather is not expected; however, it is not out of the possibility to see a severe thunderstorm warning. There is a decent capping inversion outside, and this may keep storms from occuring, but the front can lift the air, which would cause storms. Stay aware for further weather information.
